Pediatric Critical Care Intensivist
Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care, teach, and engage in scholarly activities. Clinical responsibilities will be weighted based on scholarship and other non-clinical pursuits.
Requirements
- Experienced pediatric intensivist, board-certified in pediatrics and/or pediatric intensive care medicine
- Proven track record of academic achievement in a specific area of focus
- Methodologic expertise in implementation science, clinical trial design, and translational science
- Focus areas of interest include precision medicine for sepsis or organ failure, neurocritical care, sedation practice, and anesthesia-critical care
- Evidence of leadership roles
Qualifications
Faculty rank is commensurate with the applicant’s status and training and will be determined based on Northwestern University criteria: Instructor through/to Professor are welcomed.
Skills
Experience in implementation science, clinical trial design, and translational science. Specific focus areas include precision medicine for sepsis or organ failure, neurocritical care, sedation practice, and anesthesia-critical care.

Pay
The expected base pay range for this position is $277,583 - $393,000. Northwestern University has provided a pay range representing its good faith estimate of what the university reasonably expects to pay for the position. The pay offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on factors including (but not limited to) the experience and qualifications of the selected candidate including years since terminal degree, training, and field or discipline; departmental budget availability; internal comparators; and external market pay for comparable jobs.
