About the role
Responsible for providing occupational therapy services to children in a clinical setting. Duties include assessment, treatment planning, and implementing therapeutic interventions.
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify functional limitations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Implement evidence-based interventions to improve clients' functional performance
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care
- Document progress notes and maintain client records according to regulatory standards
Requirements
- Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist
- Experience working with pediatric populations preferred
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with children and families
- Effective communication and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in computer software for documentation and record-keeping
