The role offers a unique "hybrid" career path combining the independence and community impact of a local pediatric cardiologist with the world-class resources and academic support of Seattle Children’s Hospital.
Practice Environment
Join a two-provider practice supported by a dedicated team of RNs, specialized sonographers, and administrative staff. Clinical breadth includes general pediatric cardiology, fetal cardiology, and consultation for infants through young adults. Regional outreach involves traveling to 11 sites across the state, including Bethel, Fairbanks, Homer, Juneau, Ketchikan, Kodiak, Nome, Sitka, Soldotna, Wasilla, and Dillingham. Advanced support is available through 24/7 access to the Heart Center’s multidisciplinary team in Seattle.

Required Education/Experience
- MD Degree.
- Medical Staff membership and appropriate clinical privileges at Seattle Children's and other sites as applicable.
- Licensed as a Physician in the State of Alaska.
- Board eligibility or certification in Pediatrics by the American Academy of Pediatrics and/or specialty as applicable.
- Federal DEA Registration.
Compensation
$460,736 - $519,175 per year. Salary Information calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year).
