Pediatric Behavior Technician - FULL TIME/PART TIME

Responsibilities

• Working one-on-one with a child or adolescent with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
• Teaching children and adolescents with ASD to learn to talk, play and make friends.
• Teaching children and adolescents with ASD how to complete daily activities independently.
• Teaching children and adolescents coping skills to reduce disruptive behavior.
• Continuously taking electronic data to show the client’s daily progress.
• One-on-one coaching and feedback from a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

Requirements

• 18 years or older
• A High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Pass a background check
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds
• Preference will be given to individuals in the human services field, with experience working with young children, and/or with experience working with individuals with autism.
