Pediatric Anesthesiologist Physician

About the role

Become part of a dynamic team of anesthesiologists at The Hospitals of Providence Memorial Campus, where you'll provide anesthesia services to both pediatric and adult patients in a high-acuity environment. You will work closely with Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs) under medical supervision and manage a caseload that includes approximately 20% pediatric cases.

Responsibilities

• Supervise CRNAs in providing anesthesia services
• Manage a caseload that includes both pediatric and adult patients
• Work in a 500-bed acute care hospital with Level III Trauma Center, Level IV NICU, and affiliated Providence Children's Hospital
• Practice in a call schedule of 5-6 days per month with a post-call day off
• Participate in in-house billing, coding, and collections

Requirements

• MD or DO degree
• Board eligible or board certified in Anesthesiology
• Active Texas medical license or eligibility to obtain one
• Spanish speaking preferred, but not required

• Experience in pediatric and adult anesthesia
• Ability to work in a high-acuity environment
• Strong communication skills
