Pediatric Anesthesiologist
About the role
The West Virginia University School of Medicine and the Department of Anesthesiology has multiple openings for Pediatric Anesthesiologists (ranks available: Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor). The successful candidate(s) will be expected to practice in Morgantown, WV.
Responsibilities
- Practice in the areas of Pediatric Anesthesiology
- Provide excellent patient care
- Affiliate involvement in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows
Qualifications
- Candidate must have an MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent and be eligible to obtain a state medical license
- Must have completed anesthesiology residency program, as well as pediatric anesthesiology fellowship program
- Must be board certified / eligible in anesthesiology
- For appointment at the Associate Professor or Professor ranks, a demonstrated track-record of leadership, excellent communication skills, and publications in high-impact journals are required
