Pediatric After School Care Aide

About the role

Phoenix Home Care is looking for a compassionate, dependable caregiver to provide one-on-one support for a pediatric client in Sedalia. This role is about more than caregiving. It's about helping a child through their after-school routine and giving the family an extra set of helping hands at the end of a busy day. You'll help with daily routines, personal care, meals, and age-appropriate activities while providing a safe, supportive environment. Your help can make afternoons run a little smoother and give parents more time to manage the many things that come with family life.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one care and supervision
• Assist with personal care and after-school routines
• Help with activities, meals, and other daily needs
• Provide companionship and a safe, supportive environment
• Offer an extra set of helping hands to support the child and family

Schedule

• Monday–Thursday: 2:45 PM–6:15 PM
• Friday: 2:45 PM–4:45 PM

Pay

$17 per hour

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Valid driver's license
• Reliable vehicle with current auto insurance
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test
• Previous experience working with children is a plus
