Peak Airmen Ministry Center Coordinator

Ladgov Corporation is seeking a qualified, dedicated professional to serve as the Peak Coordinator for The Peak Airmen Ministry Center at Travis Air Force Base, California. This role fosters spiritual resilience, community connection, and morale among unchaperoned, first-term, and unaccompanied Airmen living in the base dormitories, operating under the leadership and supervision of the 60th Air Mobility Wing (AMW) Chaplain Corps.

Schedule

Daily, Monday through Sunday from 5:30 PM to 9:00 PM. Special events may require extended hours, coordinated and approved in advance by the Peak Chaplain or Religious Affairs Airmen.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the center is stocked with appropriate religious literature approved by the Peak Chaplain.
• Plan and execute events that align with the center’s mission (spiritual growth, community building, leadership development, service, and peer-to-peer connection).
• Recruit, train, mentor, and schedule the Airmen Leadership Team to develop and implement programs that achieve the mission of The Peak.
• Maintain a tidy, safe, and healthy space compliant with working conditions.
• Monitor and restock the coffee bar, snack station, and beverages, ensuring the center is fully supplied with snacks, drinks, and paper products.

Qualifications

The candidate must:

• Be at least 18 years of age and hold an associate’s degree or greater, preferably in ministerial studies.
• Have at least 2 years of experience in singles ministry in a local church, para-church organization, or military chapel ministry.
• Furnish a resume and two letters of reference.
• Successfully undergo a criminal history check at local, state, and national levels.
• Professionally support and work with people of all faiths.
• Possess character traits that allow healthy, functional interpersonal relationships with co-workers, patrons, volunteers, and chapel staff.
• Maintain professional standards of conduct and public decorum, including dress and grooming.
