What You’ll Do
- Oversee the graduation of trainees completing the required training to become first seat drivers.
- Maintain and grow the inbound pipeline of new CDL holders to the company.
- Perform outbound calls to trainees for weekly check-ins and validating weekly progress.
- Perform outbound calls to career coaches for bi-weekly check-ins.
- Regularly communicate with operations staff on career coach and trainee exceptions.
- Coordinate the meeting location between career coach and trainee with internal stakeholders.
- Process after-hours travel reimbursements as necessary.
- Aid in conflict resolution and provide written documentation when needed.
- Enter timely payroll adjustments for career coaches and trainees.
- Aid in the creation of plans for appropriately seating trainees and career coaches.
- Operate as a key agent to increase trainee survivability and drive overall program growth.
- Work as a program advocate, including the overall program, its career coaches, and its trainees.
- Work through daily & weekly “board checks” to ensure frequent visibility on career coach and trainee statuses.
- Maintain high data integrity.
- Work with internal stakeholders to create upgrade plans and travel arrangements for trainees.
- Serve in a coaching capacity for the career coaches and a career success mentor for the trainees.
What We’re Looking For
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: Minimum of 0 – 2 years of related experience performing general clerical/administrative functions, call center/customer service, etc. required. Experience in the transportation industry a plus.
- Skills/Certifications: Good computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft products. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate with a variety of personalities and backgrounds and provide detailed and accurate reports. Ability to work as a team and adapt to change quickly. Strong problem-solving skills. Excellent organizational skills.
