PD PMO Manager - New Ventures

About the role

MiniMed is seeking a PD Program Manager for its New Ventures group. This role involves leading New Venture programs, focusing on developing new diabetes systems, products, and solutions.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead New Product Introduction and Sustaining programs from conception through commercialization
• Develop and execute comprehensive program plans including scope, risks, work product, resources, interdependencies, and schedule
• Collaborate with a cross-functional team including co-collaborators, outside partners, and internal members from various engineering and product development disciplines
• Generate and manage program budgets, track schedules, and resolve conflicts
• Engage senior leadership and ensure program performance
• Communicate with leadership, management, and team members regarding program priorities, budget, timing, and resources

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree with 5+ years of experience, or advanced degree with 3+ years of experience in program management, preferably in the medical device domain
• Experience managing Contract Development/Manufacturing organizations
• Strong program management skills
• Project Management Certification (e.g., PMP)
• Knowledge of Program Phase-In and Phase-Out Planning
• Influence management skills and experience working collaboratively at all levels in a matrix environment
• Excellent communication and interpersonal/team effectiveness skills
• Effective decision-making skills and the ability to balance multiple needs from different functional departments
• Strong analytical, planning, organization, and time management skills

Skills

• MS Project, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, VISIO, Outlook, SharePoint, Jira, OneNote, and other collaboration and workflow management tools

Benefits & Compensation

At MiniMed, we offer a competitive salary and a flexible benefits package. Salary ranges for U.S. locations are $138,000.00 - $234,000.00. For roles in California, Seattle WA, Washington DC, Boston MA, and New York City, the range is $153,000.00 - $261,000.00. Benefits include health, dental, and vision insurance, a Health Savings Account, Healthcare Flexible Spending Account, life insurance, long-term disability leave, and a dependent daycare spending account.
