About the role

The Occupational Therapist I works under the direction of the Occupational Therapist II to provide entry level occupational therapy services including evaluation, treatment planning, therapeutic interventions, and discharge planning.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients to determine their functional abilities and needs
• Treatment planning and implementation of therapeutic interventions
• Discharge planning to ensure successful transition to home or other settings
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans
• Assist patients and families in adapting to changes in their environment
• Document patient progress and outcomes in accordance with regulatory standards

Requirements

• Occupational Therapy License or proof of eligibility from California Board of Occupational Therapy
• Ability to travel to clinics and other campus offices as needed
