About the role

The Occupational Therapist 3 provides a full range of occupational therapy services including evaluation, treatment planning, therapeutic interventions, and discharge planning. The incumbent acts as a clinical resource, though maintenance of a specialty certification and participation in clinical research in the field of expertise.

Responsibilities

• Evaluation and treatment planning for patients
• Implementation of therapeutic interventions
• Discharge planning and coordination of care
• Maintenance of clinical research in the field of expertise

Requirements

• Occupational Therapy License from the Board of California
• Experience as a licensed occupational therapist
• CCS paneling/approval within one year of hire if qualified for CCS paneling requirement
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Customer service skills appropriate to the job
• Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload

Qualifications

• Basic Life Support certification
• Current BLS certification

Skills

• Specialty certifications such as Certified Hand Therapist, Board Certification in Gerontology, etc.
