PD - IP Lead – Sr Staff, Physical Design

About the role

The Senior Staff Physical Design Lead will be responsible for leading the physical design team, ensuring high-quality designs are delivered within project timelines. This individual will also mentor junior designers and contribute to the development of design standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead the physical design team to deliver high-quality designs within project timelines.
• Mentor junior designers and contribute to the development of design standards.
• Collaborate with other engineering teams to ensure seamless integration of designs into larger systems.
• Stay current with industry trends and advancements in physical design techniques.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in physical design, preferably in semiconductor manufacturing.
• Experience with physical design tools such as Cadence Virtuoso, Synopsys Design Compiler, or similar.
• Strong understanding of semiconductor fabrication processes and device physics.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Pay

• Base salary range: $150,000 - $200,000 annually.
