About the role
We are seeking experienced PCU Registered Nurses for flexible per diem hospital shifts in Hampton Roads, Virginia.
Responsibilities
- Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and patient status changes
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments
- Collaborate with physicians and care teams
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records
- Follow infection-control and safety protocols
- Educate patients and families regarding care and discharge
- Adapt to various hospital units and environments
Qualifications and Skills
- Active Virginia RN license
- Minimum of 2 years recent PCU nursing experience within the past 4 years
- Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications
- Recent QuantiFERON-TB Gold test (within 12 months)
- COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption
