About the role
We are seeking experienced PCU Registered Nurses for flexible, per diem hospital shifts in Hampton Roads, Virginia.
Responsibilities
- assessing, monitoring, and documenting patient conditions
- interpreting cardiac rhythms
- administering medications and IV therapies
- collaborating with healthcare teams
- maintaining accurate electronic records
- adhering to infection control and safety standards
- educating patients and families
- adapting to various hospital units
Qualifications
- active Virginia RN License
- at least 2 years of recent PCU experience within 4 years
- current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications
- recent QuantiFERON-TB Gold test
- COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption
- additional credentials may be required based on the facility
