PCU RN - Per Diem

Role: PCU Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) Responsibilities: Provide high-quality patient care in acute-care hospital settings, including patient assessment, monitoring cardiac rhythms, administering medications and IV therapies, collaborating with healthcare teams, maintaining accurate records, adhering to safety standards, educating patients and families, and adapting to various hospital units. Qualifications Virginia RN License (active)At least 2 years of recent PCU nursing experience within the past 4 yearsCurrent AHA BLS and ACLS certificationsRecent QuantiFERON-TB Gold test (within 12 months)COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemptionAdditional credentials may be required based on assignment Key Skills: Critical thinking, adaptability, strong communication, ability to monitor cardiac rhythms, medication administration, and teamwork. Key Duties: Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions, administer treatments, collaborate with medical staff, ensure safety standards, and educate patients/families. Flexibility to choose shifts that fit individual schedules, with options for daily and weekly pay, mobile scheduling, and local support.
