About the role
We are seeking experienced PCU Registered Nurses for flexible, per diem hospital shifts in Hampton Roads, Virginia.
Responsibilities
- Assessing and monitoring patient conditions
- Administering medications and treatments
- Collaborating with healthcare teams
- Maintaining accurate medical records
- Educating patients and families about care plans
- Assessing, monitoring, and documenting patient status
- Monitoring cardiac rhythms
- Providing treatments and medications
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams
- Following infection-control and safety protocols
- Adapting to various hospital units
Qualifications
- Active Virginia RN License
- At least 2 years of recent PCU experience
- Current AHA BLS and ACLS
- Recent QuantiFERON-TB Gold test
- COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption
