PCT Trainee

About the Role

We are seeking a purpose-driven team member dedicated to providing quality care to patients in a safe and professional environment. The Patient Care Technician Trainee (PCT Trainee) will be in training to learn how to provide direct patient care under the supervision of the Registered Nurse. The role focuses on learning hemodialysis treatment procedures according to Satellite and local center policies, including patient vital signs monitoring, blood tests, documentation, dialysis equipment preparation, and equipment cleaning.

Responsibilities

• Learn to provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
• Perform hemodialysis treatments according to Satellite and local center policies and procedures.
• Take and monitor patient vital signs.
• Perform blood tests and document appropriate patient information.
• Prepare and monitor dialysis equipment.
• Clean and maintain equipment.

Requirements

• High School Diploma, G.E.D. certificate, or equivalent.
• Current CPR certification.
• BONENT/NNCC/NNCO certification required within 18 months of hire date.
• CDPH CHT certification required within 18 months of hire date (for CA locations only).

One (1) year of medical experience is preferred.
