Job Summary

The Patient Care Technician (PCT) performs basic patient care services and supports activities within ambulatory services. PCTs are multi-skilled to provide expanded services under the direct supervision of a licensed clinical professional.

Qualifications

  • High school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred, but not required.
  • Minimum of six months’ experience preferred.
  • Experience in a clinic setting preferred.
  • Knowledge of healthcare, anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and medical equipment/supplies preferred.
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) preferred.
  • Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for health care providers required or within the first 60 days of employment.
  • If working in North Dakota (ND) and not a Certified Nursing Assistant, must be registered as a Nursing Assistant (NA) through the North Dakota Department of Health within four months from the date of initial employment.

About the Role

The Jamestown Family Medicine Clinic is looking for a Patient Care Tech (PCT) to join their team. Clinic schedule is Monday - Friday 8:00am-5:00pm with no weekends or holidays. Ideally looking for someone who can work on our busier clinic days - Tues, Thurs, and Fridays. This is a flex position but qualifies for full time benefits!

Pay

Salary Range: $16.00 - $23.00 Pay Info: Sign on bonus available! Wage is also adjusted based on experience!
