**PCT/CNA/EMT Internal Seasonal Contract (14-16 wks) - Float Team - Day/Night**

About the role

The Multi-Skilled Technician is an experienced health care worker who provides both patient care and administrative support.

Requirements

• Florida licensure as Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), or Paramedic; or a military Hospital Corpsman, Combat Medic Specialist, or Aerospace Medical Service Specialist; or National licensure as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) (must be maintained active during employment)
• OR Nursing students who are eligible for CNA exam and:
  • are currently enrolled in an accredited school of Nursing (RN/LPN);
  • have completed the first semester of clinical for ASN/BSN degree or completion of first trimester for LPN;
  • are not currently licensed in the U.S. as a RN or LPN.
• OR Patient Care Technician (PCT) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Certification: provide certification of successful completion of a Florida State Board approved program and successfully obtain a Florida CNA license within 120 days of graduation.
• Employees hired without the above licensure and/or by years of experience only prior to 11/11/19 are grandfathered in and will have the option of obtaining the stipulated licensure.

Preferred Qualifications

• Ability to assess, interact, communicate, and care for specific patient population served by the department
• Working knowledge of commonly used computer applications
• Ability to work with minimal supervision

Education

• High School Diploma, GED or Certificate

Mandatory Certifications

• Basic Life Support/CPR

Contract Dates

• 16-week contracts starting November and December 2026, and January 4, 2027 (ending March or April 2027 depending on start date)
• 14-week contract starting January 18, 2027 (ending April 25, 2027)

Employment Screening

All individuals providing care to vulnerable populations are required to undergo background screening through The Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.
