What You'll Do
- Creation and optimization of PCB designs based on input from electrical and mechanical engineers
- Take into consideration and follow design, signal integrity, power integrity, EMC and manufacturing guidelines
- Create and maintain manufacturing data (gerbers, pick and place, stencil, drawings and documentation)
- Create and modify schematics based on electrical design input
- Involvement in process definition and design guideline optimization
- Carry out design modifications on existing boards
Requirements
- 5 years layout experience
- Knowledge in PCB technologies and manufacturing
- Knowledge in basic Electronic design
- Sound knowledge of Layout tools (Preferably Altium)
- Sound knowledge of Electrical & electronic components – Surface Mount & through Hole (BGA required)
- High speed signal layout skills required
- Knowledge of IPC standards associated with PCB design
- Excellent communication skill and an ability to work co-operatively with others
- Attention to detail, a high level of accuracy, self-motivating and the ability to plan and organize own tasks
