PCB Layout Engineer, Amazon Leo

About the role
As a PCB Layout Engineer, you will participate in the definition and implementation of multiple spacecraft subsystems. This role involves contributing in all phases of system design and production, requiring a combination of PCB design, assembly, test, and fabrication knowledge. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams at Amazon in different locations and tackle problems that haven’t been solved at scale before.
Export Control Requirement: Candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
Responsibilities
- Create the physical layout of a PCB from concept to fabrication using Cadence Allegro or Mentor Xpedition in a highly collaborative design environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent work experience.
- Experience with analog, digital, and high-speed circuit design.
- 4+ years of PCB layout experience using industry-standard PCB design suites.
- Experience with high current density designs.
- Experience managing multiple projects in parallel.
Preferred Qualifications
- 7+ years of analog or RF layout design experience.
- Experience in design for Aerospace Class 3.
- Experience as a technical lead for small teams of PCB layout engineers.
- Experience with CAM350 and BluePrint.
Pay
- USA, CA, San Diego: $126,300.00 - $164,800.00 USD annually
- USA, CA, Sunnyvale: $134,900.00 - $185,000.00 USD annually
- USA, NY, New York: $129,100.00 - $185,000.00 USD annually
- USA, TX, Austin: $117,300.00 - $160,000.00 USD annually
- USA, WA, Redmond: $117,300.00 - $160,000.00 USD annually
