Responsibilities
- Altium Enterprise Server Administration: Administer user access rights, role-based security, revision control, and data integrity within the Altium Enterprise environment.
- Space-Grade Footprint Design: Create and verify IPC-compliant footprints tailored specifically for compliance with IPC J-STD-001 Space Addendum and IPC-6012 Space Addendum.
- EEE Level 3 Classification: Manage and enforce the parameter sets for EEE-INST-002 Level 3 component selections, ensuring accurate screening and tracking labels in the database.
- Automotive & COTS Up-Screening Support: Track, classify, and manage parametric metadata for commercial and automotive-grade parts, including AEC-Q101 and AEC-Q200 components.
- PEM Component Governance: Define and track structural parameters and risk profiles for PEMs (Plastic Encapsulated Microcircuits) utilized in spaceflight designs.
- Derating Rule Enforcement: Embed and automate part-level derating criteria within Altium parameter schemas to support engineering compliance with electrical stress rules.
- Lifecycle & Obsolescence Governance: Track component lifecycles meticulously to support 5+ year production cycles; mitigate risk by proactively qualifying approved alternates.
- Process Workflow Enforcement: Manage the Altium Part Request process, ensuring engineering requests are fully vetted for quality, parametric accuracy, and spaceflight heritage before release.
