About the Role

We provide a paid, comprehensive training program for individuals interested in a healthcare career as a Patient Care Associate (PCA). This role is designed to offer direct patient care under the direction of licensed nursing staff, ensuring safe and quality care.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities designed to maintain personal hygiene such as bathing, grooming, and skin care.
• Assist patients with ambulation, transfers, and turns.
• Ensure a clean and orderly patient environment to promote safety and infection prevention.
• Notify clinical staff of any changes in a patient’s condition or safety concerns.
• Apply infection control concepts and techniques.
• Monitor, record, and effectively communicate the patient’s condition, activities, behaviors, and safety concerns using computerized documentation systems.
• Take vital signs and perform phlebotomy (blood draws) and glucose checks.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required.
• No certifications required.
• Paid, comprehensive in-classroom and on-the-job training provided.
