About the role

At Wallick Senior Living, our Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) play a vital role in ensuring our residents live their best lives. This position is available at Oakleaf Village and The Grove.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional personal service and daily care to residents.
• Perform physical resident care including all aspects of personal hygiene and grooming.
• Answer call lights promptly and respond appropriately to resident and family needs.
• Motivate and encourage resident participation in activities.
• Absorb residents to and from activities, dining room, and other functions within the community.
• Lift, turn, and reposition residents as necessary.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED is required.
• Organized and self-motivated to excel in this role.
• CPR certification is required; Nurse Aide certification is preferred but not mandatory.
• Effective communication skills are essential for interacting with colleagues, residents, family members, and peers.
• The ability to read and interpret work instructions is important.
• Previous experience in Assisted Living or Memory Care is beneficial but not required.

Qualifications

Pay

$16/hour plus shift differential.
