PCA/Home Health Aide

About the role

Responsible for providing personal care and support services to individuals who require assistance due to age, illness, or disability. Duties include assisting with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, eating, and medication management.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal hygiene and grooming tasks
• Monitor and record vital signs as needed
• Prepare and serve meals according to dietary requirements
• Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare providers
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of living spaces
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members
• Participate in regular training sessions to maintain competency in caregiving practices

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Previous home health aide or related experience preferred
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
• Passing scores on a background check and physical examination

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Knowledge of basic first aid and CPR
• Committed to maintaining confidentiality and privacy of residents
