(application instruction, to be removed) - Also note: "We do not accept PCA certified individuals.*" (maybe a note) - Also note: "Please pay close attention to the requirements for this role." (maybe note) - Also note: "Mid Shift - 10 AM - 10 PM" (schedule) - Also note: "Hiring Range $16.80 - $21.83/Hourly Actual pay is determined based on job-related factors such as relevant experience, education, credentials, skills, internal equity, and business needs." (pay info) - Also note: "Gloucester, Virginia" location (maybe minor metadata) - Also note: "We do not accept PCA certified individuals.*" maybe a note about restrictions. We need to decide sections. We have: - About the role: Could be overview paragraph(s). The posting includes Overview and What You Will Do. Could combine into About the role? Usually About the role is a brief description. We have Overview and What You Will Do. Could treat Overview as About the role, and What You Will Do as Responsibilities. Or we could have About the role (Overview) and Responsibilities (What You Will Do). Both have content. - Responsibilities: The bullet list of duties (What You Will Do). Also maybe some duties from Overview (like performing specified functions). But we can put responsibilities as the list from What You Will Do. - Requirements: Could be the qualifications (education, experience, licenses/certs). Could be separate sections: Qualifications (maybe same as Requirements). The instruction says we can have sections: About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. We need to decide which to include based on content. We have qualifications (education, experience, licenses/certs). That could go under Qualifications. Requirements maybe similar but we could combine. However we should avoid duplicate sections with same content. Perhaps we put Requirements as the list of mandatory items (CPR/BLS, one of the following certifications). Qualifications could be education and experience (preferred). But the instruction says prefer a few substantive sections over many thin ones. So maybe combine education, experience, licenses/certs into a single Qualifications section. Or we could have Requirements (mandatory) and Qualifications (preferred). But we need to see if we have both. The posting says: Education High School Diploma or GED, (Preferred) Experience 1 year Prior health care experience in hospital setting (Preferred) Licenses and Certifications CPR/BLS Certification ... Upon Hire (Required) ONE OF THE FOLLOWING is Required: ... So there are required items (CPR/BLS, one of the following) and preferred items (HS diploma/GED, 1 year experience). So we could split: Requirements (required certifications) and Qualifications (preferred education/experience). That seems reasonable. We also have Skills? Not explicitly listed; maybe implied but not explicit. So we skip Skills section. Benefits: Not mentioned. So skip. Pay: We have hiring range $16.80 - $21.83/Hourly and note about actual pay determined based on factors. That's specific content. So we include Pay section. Schedule: We have Mid Shift - 10 AM - 10 PM. That's specific. So include Schedule section. About the role: Could be the Overview paragraph (first paragraph after Mid Shift). Let's extract that: "Works under the supervision of Registered Nurse, Nurse Manager/Director in personal care of the patients and their environment (including those needing special precautions) and performs specified functions in tasks where there is validated competency including: simple wound care (i.e. cleaning of abrasions/laceration), EKGs, peripheral INT removal, basic phlebotomy, and extremity splinting. In addition, this position must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patient served in assigned unit. The individual must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development over the life span and provide the care needed as described according to the departmental policy and procedure. Promotes and maintains safe work environment for staff as well as our customers, incorporating national patient safety initiatives." That's substantive. Responsibilities: The "What You Will Do" paragraph(s). Could be turned into a list. The content includes multiple sentences; we can break into bullet points. We need to use
  • for any list of duties/requirements/benefits. So for Responsibilities we should make a list. For Requirements (required certifications) we should also list. For Qualifications (preferred education/experience) we could list. For Pay we can put a

with the range and note. For Schedule we can put a

with shift. We also need to include location? Possibly as minor metadata in a short

or drop it. The instruction: "do NOT put Job ID / requisition numbers as headings — fold minor metadata into a short

or drop it." Location is minor metadata; we could include a short

at top: Gloucester, Virginia. But we need to decide if we should include it. It's not a heading; we can include a

with location. However the instruction says "Preserve ALL substantive information". Location is substantive? It's location of job; maybe considered substantive. But they said fold minor metadata into a short

or drop it. Location could be considered minor metadata; we can include a short

    . Let's include a

at the beginning: Gloucester, Virginia. Also note about "We do not accept PCA certified individuals.*" That's a restriction; could be included as a note in Requirements or Qualifications? It's a restriction; we could include as a

note under Requirements maybe. But we need to preserve all substantive information. So we should include that statement somewhere. Could be a

under Requirements or Qualifications. Since it's about certification restriction, maybe under Requirements as a note. Also "Please pay close attention to the requirements for this role." That's a note; could be included as a

under Requirements. We should avoid boilerplate like application instructions (the link). Remove that. Now construct HTML. We'll start with a

    for location. Then

    About the role

    with

    containing overview. Then

    Responsibilities

    with
    • items. Then

      Requirements

      with
      • for required certifications plus notes. Then

        Qualifications

        with
        • for preferred education/experience. Then

          Pay

          with

containing hiring range and note. Then

          Schedule

          with

containing shift. We need to ensure we don't create empty sections. Now extract details. Overview paragraph: Already captured. Responsibilities bullet points: Let's parse the "What You Will Do" paragraph into distinct duties: - Demonstrates understanding and knowledge of the technology systems necessary for patient data collection into EMR. - Demonstrates the ability to follow plan of care to include performing treatments and procedures competently/independently under direction of RN. This may include the following procedures dependent upon unit/facility competency requirements: vital signs, ice application, compresses, EKGs, drawing blood, specimen collection, etc. - Accurately completes all required clinical and quality documentation consistently per RHS standards and regulatory requirements. - Demonstrates accountability for ensuring availability of resources (equipment, instruments, supplies) necessary to ensure positive patient outcomes. - Maintains clean, safe and orderly work/patient environment by cleaning work stations/areas, equipment; stocking supplies; placing equipment in proper storage areas. - Demonstrates the ability to be able to take direction from the charge nurse to help admit, discharge, or transfer patients in a timely and efficient manner. We could split the second bullet into multiple items? But we can keep as one bullet with sublist? The instruction says use

          • for any list of duties/requirements/benefits. It doesn't forbid nested lists, but we can keep simple. We could break the second bullet into separate items: vital signs, ice application, compresses, EKGs, drawing blood, specimen collection. But the original says "This may include the following procedures dependent upon unit/facility competency requirements vital signs, ice application, compresses, EKGs, drawing blood, specimen collection, etc." Could be a list. We'll keep as one bullet for simplicity. Now Requirements (required certifications): - CPR/BLS Certification - American Heart Association/American Red Cross/American Safety and Health Institute (AHA/ARC) Upon Hire (Required) - ONE OF THE FOLLOWING is Required: - Certified Nurse Aid (CNA) - Virginia Department of Health Professions (VDHP) - EMT-B (Basic) from the Virginia Department of Health Professions or National
