PCA/CNA Caregiver (Cabot, AR)

About the role

CareLink offers a unique opportunity for caregivers to support older adults in their daily lives. This position requires one year of experience in direct patient care or completion of a 40-hour training course with certification.

Responsibilities

• Assisting customers with personal grooming tasks such as bathing, dressing, and toileting.
• Transferring customers between different positions like bed to chair or wheelchair.
• Conducting and assisting with passive and active range of motion exercises.
• Operating and using assistive devices and equipment such as wheelchairs, walkers, and lifts.
• Changing and laundering bed linens.
• Performing general housekeeping duties including sweeping, vacuuming, and taking out trash.
• Assisting with meal preparation and feeding.
• Shopping and running errands as needed.

Requirements

• Valid Arkansas driver’s license or ID.
• Proof of auto liability insurance.
• Reliable transportation.

• Knowledge of personal care techniques.
• Ability to read, write, and follow instructions.
• Ability to respond to individual needs.
• Ability to adjust to various working conditions and settings.
• Ability to assist with lifting and transferring adult clients safely.
• Ability to lift, transfer, squat, bend, and stoop.
