Pc Technician Support

Shift: Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM–6:30 PM

About the role

This is an entry-level Configuration Technician position focused on pre-configuring IT equipment before shipment to customers. The role ensures equipment is set up in a quality and consistent manner according to documented instructions and validated for proper functionality prior to shipment. Responsibilities

• Follow specific written work instructions to provision and configure IT devices for deployment based on customer requirements.
• Perform basic kitting of equipment according to customer specifications.
• Unbox, re-box, and process equipment for shipping.
• Clean, test, and inspect IT devices.
• Escalate technical or other issues to your immediate supervisor.
• Participate in internal departmental and project meetings.
• Offer suggestions for improving processes and efficiencies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Minimum of 1 year of experience (preferred) or relevant training directly related to the duties.
• Valid Driver’s License with fewer than 6 points to meet insurance requirements.

Physical requirements

• Lifting (up to 60 lbs.), carrying, standing, bending, and transporting IT equipment 50% of the time.
• Occasional use of basic tools (e.g., screwdriver), cleaning solutions, and tear-down/rebuild of IT components.
• Ability to type, work from a computer monitor, communicate (written and verbal), and read basic work instructions.

Qualifications

This is a hands-on, entry-level position supporting team workload. While existing technical certifications are preferred, they are not required. The individual will be expected to pursue appropriate certifications as directed by their supervisor within the first year of employment.

Pay

$17.50–$17.50 per hour.
