ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Make sure all routing requests are completed per customer’s guidelines
- Verify all paperwork is provided and completed properly including BOL’s, Cust Doc’s, and additional proper documentation of all routing requests
- Oversee the shipping office, ensuring drivers are assigned to doors and getting loaded in a timely manner
- Load trucks with direction from Supervisor and/or Lead with warehouse powered equipment
- Responsible for reporting all problems to Supervisor and/or Lead
- Special projects as assigned
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
- Physically challenging-ability to lift up to 50 lbs. for extended hours
- Strong organizational, analytical skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Computer experience including Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word plus familiarity with WMS
- Knowledge of shipping/distribution policies, practices, and procedures
- Ability to operate warehouse power equipment
- Detail oriented with a proven work ethic
- Good attendance
