About the role

BASX, a leading manufacturer of custom HVAC solutions, is seeking a Paint Department Worker to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial in supporting our production goals and maintaining high-quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Works in all activities of the paint department
• Supports delivery schedules while maximizing productivity
• Prepares powder, sets up fire ovens, and adjusts equipment settings for quality
• Primary forklift driver for the department
• Performs other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Communicates effectively in written and spoken form
• Possesses excellent interpersonal relationship skills
• Exhibits good decision-making and analytical problem-solving abilities
• Demonstrates strong multi-tasking capabilities and organizational skills
• Works effectively in a team environment
• Works effectively in a fast-paced high-pressure environment

Qualifications

• Lifts up to 50 lbs
• Sits or stands for up to 95 percent of work hours
• Visits manufacturing facility with seasonal hot and cold temperatures, dust, and some chemical fume exposure

Skills

• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Forklift operation certification preferred
• Attention to detail

Pay

$15.71 - $23.56 per hour
