Responsibilities

• Teach Windows operating system navigation, File Explorer management, Settings and Control Panel, web browsing, email setup, Microsoft Office basics, printer setup, and Windows security features.
• Explain desktop management, file organization, Windows update procedures, and basic troubleshooting to prepare students for personal and professional use.
• Guide students through desktop customization, File Explorer navigation, folder creation and organization, safe internet browsing, email management, and basic Office application usage.
• Emphasize building independence, troubleshooting confidence, and connecting PC skills to workplace readiness, online services, and digital communication.
• Adapt instruction using hands-on practice, visual guides, and step-by-step walkthroughs for beginning computer users, including adult learners and seniors.
• Identify concepts students commonly struggle with and explain material using multiple approaches to meet individual learning needs.

Requirements

• Advanced Subject Mastery: Deep knowledge of Windows OS, file management, web browsing, email setup, Microsoft Office basics, printer setup, and Windows security features.
• Conceptual Teaching & Problem-Solving: Ability to teach Windows navigation, file organization, and basic application usage while building student independence and troubleshooting confidence.
• Curriculum Awareness & Adaptive Instruction: Familiarity with common Windows PC training challenges (e.g., file management confusion, Windows updates, basic troubleshooting) and ability to adapt instruction for adult learners and seniors.
• Effective Teaching Methods: Strong communication skills, a friendly and engaging teaching style, and the ability to adapt to different learning styles and needs.
