Responsibilities

• Teach Windows operating system navigation, File Explorer management, Settings and Control Panel, web browsing, email setup, Microsoft Office basics, printer setup, and Windows security features.
• Explain desktop management, file organization, Windows update procedures, and basic troubleshooting to prepare students for personal and professional use.
• Guide students through desktop customization, File Explorer navigation, folder creation and organization, safe internet browsing, email management, and basic Office application usage.
• Emphasize building independence, troubleshooting confidence, and connecting PC skills to workplace readiness, online services, and digital communication.
• Adapt instruction using hands-on practice, visual guides, and step-by-step walkthroughs for beginning computer users, including adult learners and seniors.
• Provide 1-on-1 online tutoring and accept on-demand tutoring requests when available.

Requirements

• Advanced mastery of PC Basic Computer Skills, including deep knowledge of Windows OS, file management, and troubleshooting.
• Ability to teach conceptual understanding and problem-solving for Windows navigation, file organization, and basic application usage.
• Familiarity with common Windows PC training challenges, such as file management confusion, Windows updates, and basic troubleshooting.
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style.
• Ability to adapt instruction to different learning styles and student needs, including adult learners and seniors.
• Skilled at identifying concepts students struggle with and explaining material using multiple approaches.
