PBX Operator -Communications
Responsibilities
- Answers the switchboard and pages overhead.
- Greets and directs people to the appropriate departments.
- Maintains communication with the population served.
- Monitors the Hospital alarms and adheres to policy and procedures of all hospital emergency codes.
- Communicates effectively with a diverse population.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required (effective 4/1/14 for all new hires).
- Previous PBX experience preferred.
- Previous experience in office or receptionist.
- Effective written, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize needs to meet required timelines.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Customer Services experience preferred.
Pay
A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $15.92 to $20.50. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
