PBX Attendant (Part Time) - 8341

About the role

St. Mary's Medical Center is seeking a part-time PBX Attendant for our Communications Department. The PBX Attendant, under the direction of the Communications Supervisor or authorized designee, is responsible for the efficient and courteous operation of the switchboard.

Responsibilities

• Handle incoming, outgoing, and interoffice calls
• Assist in the training of new attendants in the proper use of the switchboard equipment
• Use intercom equipment
• Type announcements of meetings or other appropriate messages on the Doctor’s register
