Aya Healthcare has an immediate opening for a PB/ProFee Coder in Chicago, IL. This position offers a competitive salary range of $1787.00 to $1979.00 weekly for a 26-week assignment. The shift is 5 days a week, 8-hour shifts from 08:00 - 16:30.

About the Role

The PB/ProFee Coder will be responsible for accurately entering patient billing information into the Epic charting system. This role requires attention to detail and proficiency in coding procedures.

Responsibilities

• Accurately enter patient billing information into the Epic charting system
• Ensure all charges are coded correctly according to established guidelines
• Review and verify claims for accuracy before submission
• Work closely with medical coders and healthcare providers to ensure compliance with coding standards

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in healthcare coding
• Proficiency in using the Epic charting system
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Required certifications: CPC, CCS, CCS-P
