About the role

The Payson, Town of, is seeking a Streets Maintenance Technician, Specialist, or Senior Specialist to join their team.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on streets, sidewalks, and related facilities.
• Inspect and repair storm drains, catch basins, and other drainage systems.
• Operate various pieces of equipment such as dump trucks, compactors, and backhoes.
• Assist with snow removal operations during winter months.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and department policies.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• At least two years of related experience in street maintenance or a related field.
• Knowledge of traffic signs and signals.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• First aid and CPR certification preferred.

Skills

• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Good physical condition and ability to lift heavy objects.
• Excellent communication skills.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $40,000 - $50,000 annually.
