Payroll Specialist (USA and Canada)
Position Summary
Process and reconcile multiple bi-weekly payrolls in a timely manner; coordinating additional payrolls as needed.
Maintain payroll records for wage garnishments, 401k and other benefit deductions.
Process and payment of non-standard wages: commissions, bonuses, expense reimbursements, relocation.
Create reports using ADP Workforce Now Reporting Tools and MS Excel.
Support Equity compensation vesting and exercise processing.
Support audit process for both internal and external auditors.
High level of integrity and maturity essential due to sensitive nature of the information.
Qualifications
- Education: High School diploma and 3+ years experience required
- Years Of Related Experience: 3+ years of processing payroll in the United States and Canada
- 3+ years of processing high volume payroll (1000+ employees)
- Experience processing payroll within ADP WFNP
- Past experience has demonstrated a high level of integrity and maturity
Other Duties And Responsibilities
- Identify and recommend solutions to improve payroll processing function.
- Follow-up on tax filing or payroll problems.
- Reconcile bi-weekly taxes and benefit amounts to ensure seamless receipts.
- Reconcile quarterly and annual tax reporting as well as year-end W-2s.
- Assist employees with payroll inquiries.
- Timekeeping system maintenance.
