Position Overview
The Payroll Specialist is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing while maintaining compliance with all federal, state, and internal policies. Key Responsibilities (Payroll Specialist)
- Process payroll including salaries, overtime, taxes, benefits, and deductions
- Review and verify employee timecards and payroll data for accuracy
- Ensure correct setup of new hires and processing of terminations/final pay
- Prepare payroll reporting, analysis, and support audits
- Serve as a resource for employee payroll questions
Qualifications (Payroll Specialist)
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum of 1 year of payroll, accounting, or related office experience
- Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel proficiency required
- ADP Workforce experience is a plus
Pay & Schedule
$65,000 - $70,000
