About the role

The role of Payroll Specialist-HR Generalist involves managing payroll processes, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and supporting HR initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Manage payroll processing including direct deposits and tax withholdings.
  • Ensure accuracy and timely completion of payroll reports and submissions.
  • Support HR initiatives such as employee benefits enrollment and termination processes.
  • Handle inquiries from employees regarding payroll and benefits.
  • Comply with all relevant labor laws and regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in payroll administration or HR.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll software and HR systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with HRIS (Human Resource Information System).
  • Knowledge of federal and state labor laws.
