The Payroll Specialist maintains payroll-focused processes with a strong emphasis on visibility, traceability, and compliance. Work must remain clearly separated by confirmed facts, pending dependencies, and exceptions, ensuring each checkpoint includes a visible source, owner, status, and next action.

Responsibilities

• Maintain payroll-focused timekeeping reviews, ensuring accuracy and traceability within cultural, heritage, pilgrimage, and group-tour planning workflows.
• Reconcile role documentation with status tracking, leaving clear records of source, owner, status, and next steps.
• Coordinate payroll reconciliation with deadline management, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
• Review documentation and reporting to maintain payroll integrity and compliance.
• Enforce document quality control and workflow management to prevent downstream rework.
• Apply data accuracy standards without losing track of evidence or deadlines.
• Document process compliance and escalate issues with clear reasoning for decisions.
• Use judgment for follow-up, especially when payroll processes depend on external confirmations rather than assumptions.

Requirements

• Strong payroll-focused execution, ensuring controls remain usable under the demands of cultural, heritage, pilgrimage, and group-tour planning workflows.
• Ability to maintain traceable work, assign owners to unresolved items, and surface repeated errors before they cause rework.
• Confident use of Travel Experts UK workflow context and payroll processing systems.

Pay

Base salary: $43,000–$64,000 per year.

Schedule

Full-time, 100% remote within the United States.
