Payroll Specialist

About the role

SABG is hiring a Payroll Specialist to support the CFO and accounting department. The Payroll Specialist is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of payroll for approximately 350–400 employees in a government contracting environment. This position manages the full payroll cycle, including employee timekeeping, payroll processing, deductions, taxes, reconciliations, reporting, and year-end activities. The Payroll Specialist works closely with Human Resources, Accounting, Contracts, and employees to ensure payroll is processed accurately and in compliance with company policies, federal and state requirements, and applicable government contracting requirements.

Responsibilities

• Process semi-monthly full-cycle payroll accurately and on time for approximately 350–400 employees.
• Review, validate, and reconcile employee timekeeping data, approvals, and payroll inputs before processing.
