Payroll Specialist

Primary Talent Partners has a new contract opening for a Payroll Specialist (Mid Level) with a multinational science and technology company in Brea, CA. This is a 4-month contract with a potential for extension. Pay: $25.00 - $30.00/hr; W2 contract, no PTO, no Benefits. ACA-compliant supplemental package available for enrollment. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States and must be able to sit on Primary Talent Partners W2 without sponsorship. Description: The Payroll Administrator I will have the following responsibilities: Limited scope of work assigned to a small work area. Work will largely center around correct data entry. Support to the rest of the Pay & Benefits delivery team.Perform routine payroll processing tasks including reviewing timesheets, validating employee data, and ensuring accurate payroll inputsAssist with payroll audits by identifying discrepancies and making corrections in accordance with company policies and compliance standardsRespond to internal employee inquiries related to payroll, deductions, and basic benefits questions in a timely and professional mannerQualifications:Minimum of High School Diploma1-3 years of experience in payroll or HR operationsStrong attention to detail and accuracy, especially when working with sensitive financial dataFamiliarity with payroll systems (e.g., ADP, Workday, SAP) and Microsoft ExcelAbility to handle confidential information with discretionStrong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment Primary Talent Partners is an Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action employer committed to diversity in the workplace.
