About the role
An established staffing and workforce solutions company is seeking an experienced Payroll Clerk to join its corporate payroll team in Irvine.
Responsibilities
- Process employee timecards electronically and manually
- Enter and verify hours in an internal payroll system
- Review payroll information for accuracy
- Aid with garnishments and other payroll related matters
- Research and resolve payroll questions and discrepancies
- Work closely with the payroll team to ensure accurate and timely processing
Requirements
- 3 or more years of payroll processing experience
- Experience working with payroll or ERP systems
- Experience with systems such as ADP, Ceridian, Paycheck, or Great Plains is helpful
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a payroll team
- Interest in learning and growing professionally
