Payroll Specialist

Crozat Management Services LLC (CMS) is a management company for G&C Auto Body. We are looking for an experienced payroll specialist to join our team in Santa Rosa, CA.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm with a one-hour lunch. (Possible overtime as needed to support company operations)

Responsibilities

• Collecting and entering timesheet data and payroll information
• Calculating wages, benefits, tax deductions, commissions, etc.
• Preparing and processing paychecks
• Maintaining accurate records of payroll documentation and transactions
• Preparing and distributing wage-related statements
• Responding to payroll-related inquiries and resolving concerns
• Performing account balance and payroll reconciliations
• Preparing periodic payroll reports for review by management

Requirements

• Experience utilizing Paylocity highly preferred
• A degree in accounting, business, or a related field preferred
• A minimum of 3 years' experience in high-volume payroll, 5 years preferred
• Experience handling complex payroll
• Working knowledge of basic accounting principles and payroll practices
• Experience working with accounting and payroll software
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• High numerical aptitude
• Detail-oriented
• Excel proficient
• Excellent computer skills
• CPP and/or PHR certifications preferred
