Payroll Specialist

We are a privately-owned company conducting a confidential search for a Payroll Specialist. We are looking to add an on-site Payroll Specialist to our team, who will report directly on-site Monday-Friday out of our Dallas, TX office. Key ResponsibilitiesVerify accurate data when approving employee hours, wages, deductions, timecards, overtime, and more Manage and maintain the payroll systemOversee the overall payroll process and ensure it is submitted before the deadline Ensure accuracy and verify information on payroll submission process, hours worked, deductions, garnishments, benefits deducted, etc Ensure corporate compliance and accurate information is entered, and resolve any discrepancies Ensure accuracy and attention to detail with payroll processing QualificationsBachelor's degree, Associate's Degree, OR equivalent of 3 years of professional work experience 3+ years of professional payroll experienceUnderstanding of state and federal regulations in regards to payroll processing Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work well in a team environnment and autonomously Outstanding analytical, organizational, and time management skillsExperience with ensuring accuracy and compliance of payroll data, processing, employee salaries/deductions/garnishments, and more Experience with various accounting and ERP systems including AS 400 Nice to HaveExperience in the transportation, trucking, logistics, and/or manufacturing industries conducting payroll BenefitsGreat Company Culture + Collaborative Work EnvironmentPTO, Sick time, Paid Holidays Medical, Dental, Vision Plans, 401K Life & Disability Insurance Career growth opportunities & more!
