Payroll Specialist

Primary Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end processing of semi-monthly payroll cycles across multiple states for salaried, hourly, and commissioned personnel.
• Administer all mandatory deductions, wage attachments, and garnishments, ensuring precise calculations and timely communication.
• Afford assistance with payroll general ledger balancing, generate divisional management reports, and complete formal employment verifications.
• Assist with federal, state, and local regulatory requirements, including establishing new state tax accounts, processing filings, and resolving tax agency inquiries.
• Act as a responsive point of contact for payroll inquiries while delivering accurate customer service.

Qualifications

• 2 or more years of hands-on payroll processing experience.
• Experience with multi-state payroll.
• Proficient in utilizing Human Capital Management (HCM) software (e.g., ADP, Paychex, Paycom, etc.).
• Exceptional numerical accuracy, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Pay & Benefits

Salary: $60,000 – $62,400 per year
