About the role

The Payroll Lead is responsible for overseeing payroll operations, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, and providing support to employees.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee payroll processing and ensure accuracy and timeliness
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations
  • Provide guidance and support to employees on payroll-related issues
  • Manage payroll system updates and improvements
  • Prepare and distribute payroll reports and statements
  • Handle employee inquiries and resolve payroll-related concerns

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in payroll administration
  • Strong knowledge of payroll systems and software
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with HRIS systems
  • Knowledge of tax laws and regulations

$60,000 - $70,000 annually

Schedule

Full-time position, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
