Payroll-HRIS - Consultant

Vaco is partnering with a San Antonio-based manufacturing organization undergoing a significant HR and payroll transformation. We are seeking a hands-on Senior HRIS & Payroll Implementation Consultant to support the transition from ADP Workforce Now to Paycor and help drive a successful implementation from planning through go-live.

This consultant will partner closely with HR, Payroll, Finance, and IT leadership to support system configuration, data migration, process improvement, reporting, compliance, and testing activities. The ideal candidate brings strong experience with payroll operations, HRIS implementations, multi-state compliance, and business process optimization.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the migration from ADP Workforce Now to Paycor
• Lead data validation, cleanup, migration, and reconciliation efforts
• Document current processes and identify opportunities for improvement and automation
• Conduct process mapping and gap analysis
• Manage payroll-related system integrations and data transmissions
• Execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and parallel payroll testing
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations
• Build reports, dashboards, and workforce analytics solutions
• Train end users and support change management efforts

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Finance, MIS, Business Analytics, or related field
• 4+ years of HRIS, payroll systems, or HCM implementation experience
• Direct experience with ADP Workforce Now required
• Paycor experience strongly preferred
• Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capabilities
