About the role

The Payroll/HR Services Specialist at the Penbryn, NJ plant will support various administrative tasks related to human resources and payroll.

Responsibilities

  • Support services to the facility including general human resources and communication, hourly payroll processing, accounts payable/accounts receivable and purchasing activities.
  • Ensure new hire protocol is followed, conduct new hire orientations, and ensure accurate time data in payroll system.
  • Oversee payroll data validation, validate employee eligibility and earnings for annual CIP bonus payouts, maintain employee data in HRIS system, and maintain confidential personnel files.
  • Act as primary point of contact for HR questions and requests, assist with monthly Labor reporting and payroll account reconciliation, assist supervisors/managers in conducting employee evaluations and disciplinary actions, and organize all company functions, parties, picnics, celebrations.
  • Manage financial support activities such as accounts payable/accounts receivable and general office purchasing, track, investigate and resolve accounting issues, and oversee communication efforts including plant newsletter, company announcements, compliance bulletin boards, and quarterly town hall meetings.
  • Manage and prioritize multiple tasks to meet deadlines, maintain confidentiality, and provide strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

Requirements

High school/technical school diploma with a minimum of 3 years general human resources, payroll, and basic accounting experience in a manufacturing environment. Bi-Lingual (Spanish) is preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook. Strong organizational skills, ability to manage multiple tasks, and ability to maintain confidentiality are required. Fundamental mathematical skills and accounting knowledge are essential. Knowledge of local/State/Federal/Government rules and regulations regarding privacy laws, health records, etc. is necessary. Ability to work independently and in a team environment, and interface at all levels of the organization, both internally and externally is required. Travel to support the Edison, NJ facility may be required.

Pay

$54,300.00 - $74,700.00 Annual
